Number Base Converter
Convert an integer between binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal and the other supported bases from 2 through 36. The result grid shows every available base at once, with optional prefixes, uppercase hexadecimal and grouped binary or hex digits. Invalid digits for the selected source base are reported before conversion.
Use signed or unsigned interpretation with an 8, 16, 32 or 64-bit width. The bitwise panel supports AND, OR, XOR, NOT and left/right shifts; shift amounts cannot exceed the selected width. Number information includes bit length, byte length, parity and set-bit count. Presets include common values, powers of two and ASCII codes; the local history keeps ten conversions.
Features
- Convert across 15 integer bases from base 2 through base 36.
- View signed or unsigned values at 8, 16, 32 or 64 bits.
- Run AND, OR, XOR, NOT and shift operations on binary operands.
- Group digits, add standard prefixes, copy results and revisit up to ten history entries.
How to use
- Enter a value using digits valid for the selected source base.
- Choose the source base and review the simultaneous conversion grid.
- Set signed/unsigned mode, bit width, grouping or hexadecimal case when needed.
- Run a bitwise operation or copy one/all results; use a preset or history entry for another calculation.
